If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, we will gladly accept the returns or exchanges. Please see our Returns & Exchanges page for details.

Why your return shipping address is different from your business address?

For a security, we make our packaging look as unsuspecting as possible, so no one will know what is inside. On the shipping label, we will not state any sensitive words such as “jewelry,” “rings,” “diamonds,” “gold,” or “gemstones.” We will also not list our company name and address on the shipping label, as people could Google the company name and address easily.

For the same reason, if you decide to return the item, we will provide a different shipping address from our business address. We want you to have a peace of mind that your package is safe and secure.

How do I measure ring size?

Ask a professional! The right ring size is important. For maximum accuracy, we recommend visiting a local jewelry store to have your finger measured by a pro. If you are in NYC area, feel free to contact us and our professional jeweler will gladly do it for you.

Your ring should fit comfortably. It should be loose enough to slide over your knuckle, but your ring shouldn’t turn around too easily once it’s on. If you are planning a surprise proposal, we find that asking a family member (mother, sister) or friend usually works. Most people are thrilled to help with that kind of a surprise! Want to investigate yourself? See our full ring sizing guide here.

What if I measure the ring size wrong?

Ideally, you’d have the correct ring size when ordering (since our work is custom, we’d like to make it correctly the first time). We also understand many of you are planning a surprise proposal, making tricky to find out the correct ring size before you place your order. For $45 per ring, we can resize almost all of our rings.

However, there are some exceptions. Some designs and settings, like our eternity rings, are not resizable. Some rings can only be resized within a limited range. If certain rings are resized too much, diamonds on the ring shank/band may fall out easily in the future. With that in mind, please try to find the accurate ring size before placing an order. Rings that cannot be resized will be denoted on their product page.

Due to our insurance policy, we can only resize rings made by La More Design.

For more information on determining ring size, please read our sizing guide.

Can I get a ring engraved?

For an additional $35, you can add a personalized message or monogram to the interior of your band.

Not all rings can be engraved: some because of thin or delicate bands and some while engravable, might be too difficult to read. Please contact us to discuss your options before placing an order. Note: the process will add an additional three to five days to the production process. Our engraving service is non-refundable. Because of our insurance policy, we can only offer engraving on rings made by La More Design.

What does conflict-free mean?

We know that you care where your diamonds and gemstones come from.Conflict-free means we don’t make our jewelry using diamonds from conflict mines. We use Botswana-sort diamonds, which means diamonds originally mined in Botswana, South Africa, or Canada and brought to Botswana for sorting and sale. We source from reputable US suppliers who are devoted to ethically and socially responsible practices and pledge to only supply diamonds traded in accordance with the Kimberley Process, which is a strict certification system supported by the United Nations ensuring conflict-free diamond trading.

Will you make something custom with jewels/an heirloom ring I have?

Due to the insurance policy, we are not allowed to receive jewelry or stones from customers. Please DO NOT send us any jewelry or stones. Our custom orders can only be made with our La More Design materials.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Our jewelry is designed to last a lifetime and beyond. But, like most things in life, it will need some TLC (Tender Loving Care) to stay pristine. See our Services & Care page for detailed information.

How do I clean my ring?

Generally, we recommend professionally cleaning your jewelry every 6 months. Contact us or your local jeweler for cleaning and maintenance. Between those trips, you can clean your jewelry at home. See our Services & Care page for detailed information.
